Kodak Pony Camera Collection
Kodak introduced the Pony camera in 1949, using their 828 film. The Model 828 was offered through 1959. Kodak came to realize that the pros were favoring 35mm film. So, in keeping with Kodak’s reputation of bringing pro-like, but relatively inexpensive cameras to the public, in 1950 they introduced the Pony in 35mm (Model 135). It was followed in 1955 by Models 135 B & C. In 1957 Model II & IV were introduced to the market.
